Mock 11+ tests are organised each summer in order to give pupils a realistic test experience. Pupils will arrive at the exam hall, find their seat among a group of around thirty other pupils and sit an original test under strict exam conditions. This gives them a fantastic opportunity to experience the nerves, timing and pressure of a formal test before the big day.

The test papers are written by myself and another experienced tutor, Rachael Harding. The tests reflect the latest guidelines provided by the local grammar schools and test providers. We draw on our knowledge of the Key Stage 2 curriculum, our experience teaching both in and out of schools and our many years' experience of helping pupils prepare for their 11+ tests. On the day of the mock test, pupils will need to arrive at 9am with parents/guardians. The exam will take two or three hours depending on the test being taken (the girls will sit two papers while the boys sit three).  Exact timings will be confirmed in due course. 

Test papers will be marked and detailed feedback will be sent to parents via email within a  week, giving pupils a chance to revise key topics, improve on their technique or work on time management before they sit the real 11+ test. 

Children may attend a maximum of two mock test events with us.
